Ocean trash is a serious pollution problem that affects the health of people, wildlife and local economies. Celebrating the holy month of September (Maha Paropkar Month), DSS volunteers participate in Coastal Cleanup camp every year in partnership with other volunteering groups organized by Fairmont, San Francisco. The most recent Coastal Cleanup campaign was held on 17th September’16 at San Francisco.

Following the preaching and guidance of True spiritual master, Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, nearly 60 DSS volunteers travelled from nearby states to be part of this noble cause. Volunteers enjoyed working selflessly. It is also an impactful way to join together, take care of our fragile marine environment, show community support for shared natural resources, and learn about the effects of marine debris and how to prevent it.
