Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa, India has been awarded with Guinness World Records thrice for records in blood donation camps. The volunteers of this socio-spiritual organization are called as ‘True Blood Pumps’ as they have pledged to wipe off the scarcity of blood and ensure availability of safe and quality blood and other blood components, in a jiffy to the needy, throughout the year and across the globe. Revered Dr. Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, the present leader of the organization, always celebrates occasions with selfless welfare activities and motivates millions others to do the same. With His pious guidance, the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda and the members of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing organized a blood donation camp at Indiana Blood Centre, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA on Saturday, August 13th, 2016. The camp was organized to celebrate the Holy incarnation month of the true spiritual master and also, blood donation is one of the 125 humanitarian works led by the organization. The volunteers participated with great zeal and collected a total of 11 units of blood. The camp was held very smoothly by medical staff and volunteers. Refreshments were also provided to the donors. In Revered Guruji’s words, “Donate blood so that no life is lost due to its paucity. It fills the donor with vitality. Blood donation never brings any weakness rather it is a remedy of many diseases in itself. There is no bigger service & charity than donating blood. Go for this cause & be a Mankind’s savior.” The donors and volunteers also received blessings from His Holiness for keeping the flame of humanity ablaze abroad as well and for playing a significant role in breaking all the taboos and myths related to blood donation.
